Mankindtv was founded by Scott Council, a filmmaker and photographer drawn to real human stories.

After more than 17 years working in commercial and celebrity portrait photography, there was a growing pull toward something deeper. A curiosity about what drives people, why they do what they do, what they care about, and what gives their lives meaning.

Mankind grew out of that curiosity.

Filmmaking became a way to spend time with people, ask questions, and explore the stories beneath the surface.

Today, Mankind is a storytelling studio focused on people, purpose, and the brands they build. The work is not simply about how something looks. It is about understanding what it means and finding what feels true.

Our approach is simple.

Spend time. Listen closely. Understand first.

From there, we shape stories that people can feel and trust. Stories that reveal something honest about who we are, what we value, and the lives we are trying to build.
